Computer system.
In Computer system main two types of data.
1) Input data.
2) Output data.
Input data/Output data.
input means enter & data means information.Input data define as enter information in the computer system by the user is called input/ input data.Data type including voice text images for design anything. And other and simple words any thing you feed in computer is called as input. It will processing on the your given data /input and give you finished your desire result it is known as computer language system output.
(For this process you require input or output devices, and a processing unit. Here the hardware and software come into the picture.)
Hardware and software are two terms that are used very often in the computer field.A computer system is made up of hardware and software .A simple formula that describes a computer system is as follows:
A COMPUTER SYSTEM = HARDWARE+SOFTWARE
Hardware.
The physical parts of a computer system are called hardware who is tangible.Hardware is a collective term.It includes not only the computer devices include cables or wires.
Hardware devices.
Two types of hardware devices.
1)Input devices. 2)Output devices.
Definition of input devices. Definition of output devices.
The mediums through which a user can through The processed data that is ready for use is given give the data for save in the processing unit. different devices are called as output devices.
The input devices are explained as follows;
1) Mouse.
Mouse is a device that is use for selection you can select in operating system with the help of mouse open file, folder, pictures, songs, text, etc.
Types of mouse. i) Mechanical mouse. ii) Optical mouse. iii) Optical-mechanical mouse.
i) Mechanical mouse.
This type of mouse requires flat surface. The roller ball inside the mouse who detect that how long the pointer will move.Pointer/cursor the shape usually like as ( => ) displayed on the screen,
(Refer to Figure 1.1)
ii)Optical mouse.
This type of mouse require a special mouse pad with a grid pattern. A sensor inside the mouse detect movement by reading the grid as the mouse passes over it. It emits light from LED (Light Emitting Diode) or Laser.
(Refer to figure 1.2)
iii)Optical-Mechanical.
This is the combination of a Mechanical mouse and an Optical mouse.
(Refer to figure 1.3)
2) Joystick:
This is basically a stick-like input devices that allows fingertip control of the cursor or figures on the screen. It is mainly used to play games.
(Refer to figure 1.4)
3) Touch pad:
Also know as a "glide point",a touch pad is used on a large majority of portable computers as a mouse.
A touch pad is operated by using your finger and dragging it across a flat surface, as you move your finger on the surface the mouse cursor will move in that same direction.
(Refer to Figure 1.5)
4)Keyboard.
keyboard is a main input and important device.Same as typewriter. Have some partitions, one normal alphabetical ,2nd numerical typing keys, it contains certain standard function keys,Ex (F1, F2,.........F12) or (Esc, Tab or Movement keys),the shift and control keys, and sometimes, other manufacturer-customized key
Refer to Figure 1.6
Basic shape
5) Microphone:
This is the in put device you can store his voice in processing unit with the help of a microphone
Refer to figure 1.7
Desktop microphone.
High quality microphone.
6)Scanners:
Scanner used for obtaining quick input of text images or any more things. It is a very easy input method. scanners are devices that are suitable for entering graphical information into the computer. Some scanners are able to read text so this mode of entering textual information is much quicker then typing.
Types of scanner.
i)Flatbed scanner. ii) Sheet fed scanner iii) Hand held scanne
iv)Card scanner.
i)Flatbed scanner.
it is one of most commonly used and most recommended scanners. This scanner allows the user to place a full piece of paper, book, Magazine, Photo or any other Object onto the bad of the scanner.
Refer to figure 1.8
Printer + scanner
ii) Sheet fed scanner.
2nd number commonly used scanner , which allows a user to scan pieces of paper into the computer.
Refer to figure 1.9
New and smart shape.
iii)Handheld scanner/Bar code reader:
Today not commonly used scanner option and can be difficult to find at stores. The handheld option allows the user to drag over selected sections of pages ,Magazines, books, and other product or things. These selection are called as Bar codes.
Refer figure 1.10
iv) Card scanner.
For scanning business cards for record purposes.
Refer to figure 1.11
